Hello Decorah chess enthusiasts! We’ll be getting together at Pulpit Rock Brewing Company Wed. 9/8, at 6:30PM for a few games/lessons. We hope to see a few new faces!
Ego is Your Enemy
Easier said than done, you can improve your game in a big way by realizing that ego is your enemy, and it needs to be checked at the door. True growth in the game (and in life) will occur when we make ourselves vulnerable in this way, wearing our weaknesses on our sleeves.
Whether you can accomplish this or not, you’re still welcome to come out to play, learn, and/or mentor. See some of you tomorrow!
